Al-Braik has ensured that it has been part of Dubai's uprising. Major, internationally-known projects like Dubai Marina, Tecom and International City along with 15 other real estate developments around the city have been part of our ever-expanding presence in the sector.

Not only has it delivered major projects such as the Atlantic Project in Dubai Marina, an industrial complex in Musaffah, Hotel Apartments in Tecom as well as workers' accommodation, it will soon deliver the iconic towers in Culture Village and Raha Beach in Abu Dhabi and will change the landscape of Mauritius too.

Alongside local partners in Mauritius, Al-Braik is working on an integrated report scheme (IRS) high-end hotels and villas. The project has been approved by the Board of Investment (BOI) in Mauritius to deliver a five-star hotel and two phases of high-end residential villas. The project master plan was originally designed by Fosters and Partners. We are also in advanced discussions with a leading hotel operator for management of the hotel and branding of the villas.

Maconde has a feeling of authentic Mauritian rural lifestyle with small hamlets hugging the coastal roads where fishing is a large part of the community. The surrounding coastline and backdrop is undoubtedly one of the most picturesque in Mauritius.

The headland cliff is the proposed development plot of land which covers over 250 acres. Elevation from the sea to the top of the cliff ranges between 80-100m. The land and topographical studies have been completed to ascertain the practicalities of achieving the development and maximising views. Maconde is 40km from Plaisance / Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport with a travel time of around one hour. Port Louis, the capital and business heart of Mauritius, is 60km away.
